Define
A workshop that turns the idea into a screen list and a written scope, separating version one from everything that can follow it.
Development
iOS and Android applications built from one codebase, so you are not paying twice for the same feature. We are AI first, which is why a working version usually arrives in two to eight weeks.
First consultation is free, and every enquiry is answered within 12 hours.
Mobile app development is the design and build of an application for phones and tablets. MarkLogix builds most first versions on FlutterFlow, so one build serves both the App Store and Google Play, with a working version in two to eight weeks from $1,500. Apps that need heavy native performance are scoped separately and referred on when that is the better call.
What you get
We build the smallest version that proves the idea works on a real phone, then grow it from there.
We map the screens, the actions on each one and the data behind them, then agree what version one needs and what waits for later.
FlutterFlow and similar tools build both platforms from one codebase and cost far less. Native code suits apps that lean hard on the camera, maps or offline use. We say which fits and why, in writing.
Every screen designed and reviewed before build, following the platform conventions users already know on iOS and Android.
User sign-in, roles, permissions and a database on Firebase or Supabase, in accounts created in your name.
Payments, push notifications, analytics and any external service with a documented API, confirmed as possible during scoping.
Tested on physical iOS and Android hardware against real scenarios, not only a simulator.
App Store and Google Play listings, screenshots, review notes and the submission itself, handled for you.
The project sits in your platform account with written documentation, plus 30 days of support after launch.
Technology
We are AI first and platform agnostic. The right tool depends on your budget, who maintains it after launch and how far it needs to scale, so we recommend one in the meeting and explain the trade offs before you commit. If your project uses something not on this list, we can still take it on.
Platform licence and subscription fees are paid directly by you, in your own accounts, so nothing is ever locked behind ours.
How it works
A workshop that turns the idea into a screen list and a written scope, separating version one from everything that can follow it.
Full visual screens for both platforms, approved by you before any build starts.
Delivered as builds you can install on your own phone, so problems show up early rather than at the end.
Store submission on both platforms, documentation and handover, then support while the first real users arrive.

Investment
These are estimated starting ranges to help you size a budget. Exact pricing depends on your scope and is confirmed in writing after the first meeting, which is free and carries no obligation.
Questions
A working version one on a cross-platform tool starts at $1,500. A production app with several user roles, payments and integrations runs $2,400 to $3,400. Larger or native builds run to $4,000. Cost is driven by the number of screens, how many user roles there are and how many outside services the app connects to.
Two to eight weeks depending on scope. A focused first version can be ready in two to three weeks. An app with payments, push notifications and several roles usually takes six to eight. We deliver builds you can install on your own phone, so progress is visible throughout.
Yes. Most projects use one shared codebase that produces an iOS build and an Android build together, so a new feature is built once rather than twice. Where an app genuinely needs native performance on one platform, we scope that separately and explain the cost difference before you decide.
Cross-platform tools such as FlutterFlow build faster and cost far less, which suits most business apps and every first version. Native code suits apps that depend heavily on the camera, maps, sensors or offline use. We recommend one after mapping your screens rather than defaulting to a favourite.
Yes. We prepare the store listings, screenshots and review notes, and submit on both platforms. You keep the developer accounts in your name, so the app and its reviews stay with you if you ever move to another team.
Yes. The tools we list are the ones we use most, not a limit. If your app already runs on another framework, or your team wants a specific stack kept, tell us what you are using and we will confirm honestly whether we are the right fit.
You do. Developer accounts, the codebase, the database and any design files are created in your name from the start. For a cross-platform build the project sits in your platform account, so any other developer can pick it up.
Yes, always, and before you share anything confidential. We are happy to use your own NDA template rather than ours, and we never publish a project as a case study without written permission.
